Join us for the 20th YEAR of our local, free, grassroots music festival, right here in Austin, TX!
The Texas Community Music Festival kicked off in Austin on April 29, 2006 at Central Market Cafe North. The very first TCMF drew approximately 10,000 attendees over the four-day event, far exceeding expectations and setting the stage for what has now become a ten-day tradition.

Texas Community Music Festival honors our founding organization, ACWE, who celebrated its 50th year in 2025 and continues to make our festival possible.

SATURDAY APRIL 20th — 3:15pm Unfortunately, we HAVE had a weather cancellation. The Inside out Steel band will be unable to perform due to the inclement weather.Watching this group arrive, load in, set up their stage, and break down and pack everything is a performance in and of itself!!!
