The Texas Community Music Festival kicked off in Austin April 29, 2006, at Central Market North, and drew approximately 10,000 over the four days to the central Austin location, far exceeding expectations, and setting the stage for what has now become a Central Texas tradition.

FRIDAY APRIL 12th — 7:00pm Rhythm Congress was born in a warehouse on South Congress Avenue in Austin, Texas.
