The Girl Scout Harp Ensemble, Troop 525 was founded in 2011.
This will be their debut performance at the TCMF, and we’ve known two of their players since they were literally crawling underfoot at Austin Civic Wind Ensemble rehearsals!
From their website: “In some ways, we are no different than a traditional Girl Scout troop. We sell cookies to fund our troop, we volunteer to participate in community activities, and we wear our sashes when we are out in public. In other ways, we are quite different. Our meetings are rehearsals; our campouts are performances!”
