The Texas Community Music Festival kicked off in Austin April 29, 2006, at Central Market North, and drew approximately 10,000 over the four days to the central Austin location, far exceeding expectations, and setting the stage for what has now become a Central Texas tradition.

Boss Street Brass Band will be making their first TCMF appearance this year. Come get your fill of funk on Sunday, April 21, at 1:30pm! Created in the Fall of 2011, most of the members are graduates from John H. Over the years, they have traditionally played dance music, but their repertoire also includes traditional jazz, some Dixieland, and basically just fun stuff.
