The Texas Community Music Festival kicked off in Austin on April 29, 2006 at Central Market Cafe North. The very first TCMF drew approximately 10,000 attendees over the four-day event, far exceeding expectations and setting the stage for what has now become a ten-day tradition.

The Dixieland Accidentals have appeared at TCMF since the second year of the festival. Come see them at Central Market North on Monday, April 22, at 6:45pm. The Dead Music Capital Band, freshly decomposed from crowd-pleasing triumphs at Mardi Gras in New Orleans and the 2013 Honk!TX festival in Austin, will be appearing in its second Texas Community Music Festival.
