The Texas Community Music Festival kicked off in Austin on April 29, 2006 at Central Market Cafe North. The very first TCMF drew approximately 10,000 attendees over the four-day event, far exceeding expectations and setting the stage for what has now become a ten-day tradition.

FRIDAY APRIL 12th — 7:00pm Rhythm Congress was born in a warehouse on South Congress Avenue in Austin, Texas. FRIDAY APRIL 12th — 5:45pm The very first band on stage for TCMF 2024 is Woot Talley! Woot started playing at TCMF in 2013 and he has been a part of it every year, minus the COVID years.
