The Texas Community Music Festival kicked off in Austin on April 29, 2006 at Central Market Cafe North. The very first TCMF drew approximately 10,000 attendees over the four-day event, far exceeding expectations and setting the stage for what has now become a ten-day tradition.

Austin — The Seventh Annual Texas Community Music Festival continued Monday night at Central Market with performances by the Trilogy Clarinet Trio from Marble Falls and an extended set by the Austin Jazz Band.
