The Texas Community Music Festival kicked off in Austin on April 29, 2006 at Central Market Cafe North. The very first TCMF drew approximately 10,000 attendees over the four-day event, far exceeding expectations and setting the stage for what has now become a ten-day tradition.

Austin — Due to overwhelming demand, the new Texas Community Music Festival Fall Showcase — TCMF 8.1 — has been expanded and will take place Friday, October 18, 2013 through Tuesday, October 22, 2013.
