The Texas Community Music Festival kicked off in Austin April 29, 2006, at Central Market North, and drew approximately 10,000 over the four days to the central Austin location, far exceeding expectations, and setting the stage for what has now become a Central Texas tradition.

Austin — The TENTH Annual Texas Community Music Festival had an audience of all ages dancing, singing, smiling and swinging Tuesday night, featuring music from three organizations that have performed at TCMF from the very first festival in 2006.
