The Texas Community Music Festival kicked off in Austin on April 29, 2006 at Central Market Cafe North. The very first TCMF drew approximately 10,000 attendees over the four-day event, far exceeding expectations and setting the stage for what has now become a ten-day tradition.

Texas Community Music Festival honors our founding organization, ACWE, who celebrated its 50th year in 2025 and continues to make our festival possible.

AUSTIN – The 2025 Texas Community Music Festival is now BOOKED. Bands wishing to perform should join our waiting list – click “Waiting List” in our main menu. Each year we have cancellations, and performers on our waiting list are contacted to fill those cancellation slots. Please click “Waiting List” and submit your application today.
Austin – The 2025 lineup for the Texas Community Music Festival is nearly complete. Only a few timeslots remain for this, the 18th TCMF, which will be held April 4-13, 2025 at Central Market North in Austin, TX. Bands interested in participating can check the 2025 Schedule and then sign up for one of the remaining time slots. Once filled, we will again be accepting applicants to our waitlist.
