The Texas Community Music Festival kicked off in Austin on April 29, 2006 at Central Market Cafe North. The very first TCMF drew approximately 10,000 attendees over the four-day event, far exceeding expectations and setting the stage for what has now become a ten-day tradition.

Texas Community Music Festival honors our founding organization, ACWE, who celebrated its 50th year in 2025 and continues to make our festival possible.

In two short weeks, the schedule for the 2011 Texas Community Music Festival has nearly filled. Only a handful of available performance opportunities remain for the weekend of April 30 -May 1 at Central Market North. And only two slots remain ope n for the final weekend at Central Market, May 7-8 2011. Already we are investigating expanded performance nights at Scholz Garten to augment our two Thursday performances of the World infamous Wurst Band…
The schedule for the Sixth Annual Texas Community Music Festival is beginning to fill. In fact, the program for Sunday, May 8 is all but closed, with only one time slot remaining, and Saturday May 7 is virtually booked as well.
