Band of the Hills is a wind and percussion ensemble composed of musicians from Cedar Park, Leander, Round Rock, Pflugerville and the surrounding area. We are a non-audition, volunteer organization of dedicated musicians who love to perform and whose purpose is to provide a cultural and musical experience for central Texas communities.
Band of the Hills has been a vibrant part of our community since its inception in 1998. Starting with a core group of 18 musicians, we’ve grown into a 100-member ensemble that reflects the rich diversity of our area. Our members come from all walks of life and despite our varied backgrounds, we share a common passion—the love for creating exceptional music.

The Hill Country Community Band’s mission is to provide a relaxed, welcoming environment where musicians can unite in their common love of music.
The diverse, all-volunteer organization provides the setting for life-long performance of music, while challenging each member’s musicianship.
