The Hill Country Community Band of Wimberley is an all volunteer wind band based in Hays County, Texas. Their member roster is made up of amateur and professional players with one common interest: we love band! The Hill Country Community Band gives them opportunity to play, and us to hear, some old favorites as well as the chance to explore new compositions by some of the top composers of the 21st century. The Armadillo Swing Band is a 17-piece big band that was formed in 2015 to bring music of the 1930s and 1940s, along with more current compositions, to venues across central Texas. The band draws its musicians from all over the greater Austin area and is available for parties, corporate events, weddings, Bar mitzvas, bat mitzvas, Quinceanera, graduation parties, retirement parties, baby showers, music festivals or any event needing musical entertainment.
