Clarinets and all that Jazz at Scholz Garten!
Austin — The Texas Community Music Festival returned to Scholz Garten Monday night with performances by the Hill Country Clarinet Trio of Marble Falls and the Austin Jazz Band.
While most assuredly jinxing the final day of the Fifth annual TCMF, the skies were clear and a cool breeze washed over a mostly packed biergarten at Texas’ oldest restaurant. And the audience was treated to wonderful performances, which has become the hallmark of this “we’re only in it for the music” festival.
The Fifth annual Texas Community Music Festival concludes Thursday at Scholz Garten beginning at6:30 with the Chalumeau Clarinet Quartet, followed by the mellow tones of the world-infamous WURST BAND!
Make plans to join us as we close down the most successful Texas Community Music Festival with a rousing chorus of “In Heaven There is No Beer!” In fact — BRING YOUR HORN AND JOIN US! That’s what community music is all about.
