AUSTIN — The Fifth Annual Texas Community Music Festival swings back into action tonight at 6:30 at historic Scholz Garten, 1601 San Jacinto in downtown Austin.
Ryan Honeycutt will lead off the evening, sponsored by the Austin Jazz Alliance, sponsors of Saturday’s program at Central Market North.
At 8pm, it’s the first of our two “South by SouthWurst” performances — featuring the New Austin Polka Band. So come out, fill a stein or two and celebrate Texas Teutonic Tunes!
The festival shifts back to Central Market North Saturday morning at 10am with a full day of Jazz, brought to you by the Austin Jazz Alliance, and continues at Central Market Sunday with another full day of music that’s as diverse as Austin itself.
