The Texas Community Music Festival kicked off in Austin on April 29, 2006 at Central Market Cafe North. The very first TCMF drew approximately 10,000 attendees over the four-day event, far exceeding expectations and setting the stage for what has now become a ten-day tradition.

Austin — The Texas Community Music Festival completed its first week of performances on Wednesday night, with yet another mind-blowingly diverse program of music from three vastly different bands.
