Austin — The Ninth Annual Texas Community Music Festival – arguably the best attended and performed TCMF to date – ends Sunday (today) at Central Market, 4001 North Lamar, in Austin. The program begins at 11am with a traditional Jazz Brunch with traditional (Dixieland) jazz band La Grosse Tete, and continues throughout the day with a lineup of big bands, concert bands and swing repertoire. The Texas Community Music Festival kicked off in Austin on April 29, 2006 at Central Market Cafe North. The very first TCMF drew approximately 10,000 attendees over the four-day event, far exceeding expectations and setting the stage for what has now become a ten-day tradition.
