The Texas Community Music Festival kicked off in Austin on April 29, 2006 at Central Market Cafe North. The very first TCMF drew approximately 10,000 attendees over the four-day event, far exceeding expectations and setting the stage for what has now become a ten-day tradition.

Texas Community Music Festival honors our founding organization, ACWE, who celebrated its 50th year in 2025 and continues to make our festival possible.

Austin — The Fourteenth Annual Texas Community Music Festival kicks off its yearly 10-day run on Friday, April 26, at 5:30pm at Central Market North, 4001 N. Lamar Blvd. Opening Night begins at 5:30 with Bubba Coletrane and the Train Wrecks, followed at 6:45 by the 512 Four Saxophone Quartet.
