How Many Banjos???

SUNDAY APRIL 14th — 3:15

That’s right — you read it on our t-shirts, but the answer is here… HOW. MANY. BANJOS?

The Austin Banjo Club has been playing traditional banjo music in and around Austin for more than a quarter century.

Many Central Texas folks have heard them play on 6th street during Victorian Christmas, at a nursing or retirement home, at a church, at a wedding, a birthday party, at the Farmer’s Market, or even at a funeral.

They travel to banjo conventions in other states. We have performed as a band as far away as Memphis, TN, Tucumcari, NM, Eureka Springs, AR, Guthrie, OK, and Solomans Island, MD. And as close as Central Market, Austin, TX. Come see!

How on earth do you follow a set of banjos? With the Mono Ensemble!

SUNDAY APRIL 14th — 4:30pm

Carousel Lounge regulars that will take you back to old Austin when you could find any kind of music, everywhere, and all the time. They visited us last year as Therapy Pets, but now they’re back as their complete lineup, the Mono Ensemble.
