TCMF 14 Kicks Off Friday!

Austin -- The Fourteenth Annual Texas Community Music Festival kicks off its yearly 10-day run on Friday, April 26, at 5:30pm at Central Market North, 4001 N. Lamar Blvd.

Opening Night begins at 5:30 with Bubba Coletrane and the Train Wrecks, followed at 6:45 by the 512 Four Saxophone Quartet.  Rhythm Congress, making their 14th TCMF appearance, closes the show at 8pm.

Saturday's program begins at 11am with the Austin Civic Wind Ensemble, the founders and hosts of TCMF and continues until 9pm.

The Texas Community Music Festival kicked off in Austin April 29, 2006, at Central Market North, and drew thousands over four days to the north central Austin location, far exceeding expectations, and setting the stage for what has now become a Central Texas tradition.
