Gorgeous Sunday sets the stage for a brilliant week of music at TCMF XII!

Austin —  The Twelfth Annual Texas Community Music Festival delighted a packed house on the festival’s first Sunday, as the chill of Saturday gave way to clear skies, sunshine and pleasant temperatures.

But, of course, nothing shined as brightly as the music!

TCMF-goers were treated to a wonderful, diverse weekend of music from performers ranging from one-man bands (single performers) to enormous concert bands (lots of performers  >70), and musical styles from all corners of the musical universe.

Thanks to the hundreds of community musicians who performed over the weekend.  Your support of this event makes it the success that it is!

TCMF continues every evening this week at Central Market North, beginning each day at 5:30pm, and featuring something for everybody!  Please check our schedule page for complete information.

And come on out to TCMF XII.

The Texas Community Music Festival is brought to you by the Austin Civic Wind Ensemble and sponsored by Westbank String Shop and Ms. Kat’s Music and Movement.  We’re delighted to be hosted by Central Market, for the 12th year!  THANKS! THANKS! THANKS!

Here’s a little bit of Saturday night’s performance by Cilantro Boombox!
