TCMF XII opens big!

Austin — The Twelfth Annual Texas Community Music Festival celebrated its downbeat Friday night at Central Market in Austin with a program as diverse in musical style as TCMF itself.

The evening began with a jazz set by the Art and Candy Quartet, followed by indie rock band Claiming Neptune, who were making their third straight appearance at TCMF.

Friday night culminated with a classical brass band concert by the Austin Brass Band, who has performed in every Texas Community Music Festival since the beginning, 11 years ago.

TCMF continues Saturday at 11 am with the Austin Civic Wind Ensemble, founders and hosts of TCMF, and will present a full day of music for all tastes.

Family friendly and free for all!  Come out to Central Market North and join us!
