TCMF11 Kicks off TONIGHT!

Opening night headliners – Rhythm Congress. Appearing in it’s 11th straight TCMF

Austin – The eleventh annual Texas Community Music Festival kicks off Friday evening at 5:30 at Central Market, 4001 N. Lamar in Austin.

Once again, we’re excited to present the most diverse array of musical styles and talent assembled anywhere in Texas –  ANYWHERE period – for the next 10 days and nights.

Opening night’s show includes performances from Bubba Coltrane and the Train Wrecks at 5:30pm.  Claiming Neptune takes the patio stage at 6:45 and the evening culminates with a performance by longtime TCMF veteran Rhythm Congress, who closes out the show at 8pm.   It’s going to be a lively evening of music so be sure to wear your dancing shoes.

TCMF11 continues throughout the weekend, rain or shine, with full days of music both Saturday and Sunday.  Monday through Friday performances begin at 5:30pm, and the festival concludes with two more full days of music next weekend, April 23-24.

Texas Community Music Festival is presented by the Austin Civic Wind Ensemble and graciously hosted for the 11th straight year, by Central Market, without whom this Texas tradition would never have been possible.
