The FIFTH TCMF Kicks off Next Week!

The fifth annual Texas Community Music Festival begins next Friday, April 23, at Central Market North, with an evening of traditional jazz, presented by the Austin Traditional Jazz Society, and will continue throughout the next two weeks (check the schedule page) at Central Market and Scholz Garten, culminating Thursday May 6 with the year’s first appearance of the infamous but always fun Wurst Band.

And, as always, the entire Texas Community Music Festival is FREE to the public. With music for all ages, TCMF is a great way to spend a family afternoon in the park, enjoy a picnic on Central Market’s expansive patio (and children’s playground) or enjoy an evening under the stars in the oldest biergarten in Texas, historic Scholz Garten.

Due to several unfortunate cancellations, the festival schedule still contains three unconfirmed performances, but rest assured, those times will be filled and filled with outstanding performances!  Check back for more information.

ATTENTION MUSICIANS: Check the Player’s Page for all performance details for both venues.  If you have any additional questions, please contact us by email.
